Straight answers

Questions people ask before they come

The short version of everything above, in the words people actually search for.

Do I need a referral or a diagnosis?

No. There is no referral, no diagnosis and no paperwork. If a program is marked available now, you can walk in this week. If you’d rather talk first, register your interest and we’ll call you.

Does it cost anything?

No. Every Redgum program is free or fully subsidised. No participant ever pays.

Who can come?

Veterans and ex-serving members; first responders, including police, fire, ambulance and SES; victims of crime; and the partners, children and carers who live alongside them.

What is running right now?

Right now: Gem Club at Tea Tree Gully (Wednesdays 5–8pm · Tea Tree Gully); Fridays at Fallen Forge (Fridays 9am–4pm). Programs currently run in South Australia. Times and places are on each program card, and more programs are in development for 2027.

Can my family come too?

Yes. Partners, children and carers are welcome, and family days are built around the whole household.

What if I’m not ready to walk in?

Register your interest and we’ll call you. We’ll talk through what you need, which program fits, and whether family come too. There’s no obligation.
